Introduction

Hello! My name is Melanie.  I am a third year anthropology co-op student at UVic.  I completed my first two years at Camosun College and then transfered to UVic in September 2010.  I am taking Anthropology 392: To the Grave and Beyond because I think it is fascinating what we can learn about cultures, individuals, and places by studying death and mortuary practices.  I enjoy the mystery and challenge that comes with interpreting data from human remains and related funerary practices.
